Poem by Donald in honor of Bill Anderson Dad I remember the times You showed me a little about drawing hands You said hands and faces Are the hardest to draw to look right My hands now remind me of how yours were Strong, enduring, Weathered the storms of a working life Of a craftsman that keeps on building Creating Preparing Dad
I remember the times My hands held yours You leaned close, A moment returned to the strong The enduring Your hands held mine between them In prayer hands I saw love in your face Unafraid looking up at you, dad Good completely Appreciating Closeness, our eyes overful Being there I am here dad I am here "Hopefully you have all heard by now that William A. Anderson passed away Thursday morning April 6th, 2023. There will be a graveside service at Cherokee Memorial Park, Lodi, California, on Thursday, April 20th, 2023 at 11 AM. After the service, Mom (Marilyn) is inviting everyone over to her place where we can be around Dad's paintings as we remember him." -- Lynette, David, Andy, and Donald Anderson. Please, friends and family are welcome to comment below and share memories and precious moments, prayers sent, comfort and kindness, and love...
