“I began at an early age with some natural abilities in art. I spent most of my work years applying these abilities to commercial applications of art. I was able to find occupation in designing and pictorial work. There were some times that I ventured into fine arts and sold watercolors of the gold country at a gallery in Murphy’s. There have been some shows that I had participated in through the years including a couple “one man shows.” Now that I have “retired,” I am devoting as much time as possible to the fine arts because it was something I had always wanted to do.”
